  • Trains at Christmas – November 22-23, 2025 – Sioux Falls, SD

    The DSED model railroad club will be at Trains at Christmas train show at the Expo Building at the W H Lyon Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday, November 22-23, 2025. Come and check out all of our layouts, including our award-winning HO layout, N scale T-Trak layout and two switching layouts for kids to earn an engineer's certificate by running a train. We will also have some used model trains and accessories for sale during the train show. Cost is $7 per adult, children 12 and under are free with a paid adult.

    The DSED will have a winter themed HO and a Lego layout on display at the First Bank & Trust in Garretson, SD, on Friday, December 5th. The Garretson Museum will also be open where a model train layout will be on display depicting Garretson in the 1970's. Stop by and see these great displays.

    Another great annual event as we bring our layouts to the downtown library in Sioux Falls, SD. The many guests of the library see our HO and N scale model train layouts in action. The switching layouts will also be on display where kids are able to earn their engineer's certificate. A great fun family event. Free to attend.
