DSED members are offering a Sioux Falls Community Education 4-week class beginning Thursday, April 14, 2022, on building model railroad modules for T-Trak. The modules are specific to N-scale T-Trak, however, the methods can be used on any scale of model trains. During the class, participants will learn about track laying, electrical and scenery options. Every module is different as each participant uses their own imagination while adding scenery to their modules. Three of the sessions are hands on and one session includes home tours of two of the instructor’s home model train layouts.
The class cost includes one 2-foot module, with track, that is yours to keep at the end of the class. Single participants $65, couples (2 adults or 1 adult/1 child) $75, or family (up to 4, 2 adults/2 children or 1 adult/3 children) $85. Additional modules, with track, will be available for sale at the class for $50 each.
