The DSED is excited to announce that we will be hosting our annual train show at a new location in 2026. Our new location will be the Sioux Falls Convention Center located at 1201 N West Ave, Sioux Falls, SD. The venue is larger than our previous location which will allow us to bring in more vendors and model train layouts. The space is well-lit, is a wide-open space with an enclosed and overhead loading and unloading dock area with ample free parking for our guests. Class runs Tuesdays - 4/7, 4/14, 4/21 and 4/28 6PM - 8PM in April 2026. See link below for registration and details. Registration is necessary. Registration Form at Sioux Falls School District. Details and photos of previous classes.
-The 2026 Convention will be held in Thunder Bay the weekend of American Memorial Day, May 21-24, 2026. -The Thunder Bay Model Railroad Club will be our host. -The Delta Hotel will be he convention headquarters. Members are recommended to ask for rooms at the back of the hotel so they can overlook the tracks. -A wide variety of events, tours, and layout tours are planned. -Watch the Fusee and website for more updates. -Be sure to have your passports updated, and note that Thunder Bay is in the Eastern Time zone.
