The Dakota Southeastern Division, DSED, model railroad club, is again hosting a 4-week session in which registrants are able to use their unique creativity by adding track and scenery to their own 2′ module. The modules can be added to other modules to build their own model railroad or learn the basics of scenery to be used in other dioramas. This is a hands-on class with the use of paints, glues and creativity. A great family event. Classes are held on Tuesday evenings, from 6-8pm, starting April 8, 2025. Classes are held at the CTE, Career and Technical Education Academy in Sioux Falls, SD.

The first two Tuesdays are hands-on building, the third Tuesday is a chance to visit two of the instructor’s home model train layouts and during the last class we complete the module builds and then join the registrant’s modules with modules from the DSED and run trains.
